AGRI-ZINC

Agri-Zinc is specifically formulated to provide readily plant available zinc. Enhanced with Fulvic acid, a natural chelator and Earthworm Exudate which contains an array of micro organisms. The Fulvic acid in combination with the earthworm exudates also enhances growth facilitating the rapid absorption of zinc into the plant.

Agri-Zinc is a cost effective way to alleviate zinc deficiency and maintain adequate levels to optimise crop yields. Soils in Southern Africa are known to be mostly zinc deficient.

Zinc is a vital micro-nutrient for healthy high value crops. Needed in small but critical concentrations, to allow key physiological pathways to function normally.

Various application scenarios include:

Grain crops:

  • Wheat and Barley – Apply 1.5 -3L/ha at tillering and flag leaf stages.

  • Maize – Apply 1.5-3L/ha at planting and/or at tasseling stage. Apply at 0.25% solution just before flowering stage and after harvest.

Sugar Cane:

  • Apply at 3–5L/ha at knee height.

Citrus and sub-tropical fruit trees (includes Macadamia, Avocadoes, Mangoes and Coffee):

  • Apply at 3–5L/ha during the Spring (Sept/October) and/or during the Summer months (Dec-March) leaf growth flushes.

Zinc deficiency present in citrus leaves compared to healthy leaves.

Agri-Zinc is instantly plant available where it is involved in over 300 enzymes and proteins and has a specific effect on cell division, nucleic acid metabolism and protein synthesis.

Agri-Zinc can increase grain crop yields by up to 2-4 tons/ha if zinc is deficient.
